SDM - STRETTA DI MANO

The Association plans and implements international cooperation projects between Italy and Senegal, trying to appraise the migrants who come back in their countries and originate development. Among the implemented projects we count: - projects for the support of women groups who went back in Senegal and gave birth to small cooperatives for the processing and local promoting of agricultural products; - development education and world citizenship activities in Italian and Senegalese schools (with focus on food rights and food sovereignty) through the realization of school vegetable gardens and exchanges between schools, involving new means of comunication (web 2.0, blogs etc.).
