Effective participation of migrants in integration needs both empowered migrant communities AND representatives of the local authorities with both the motivation and the skills to support this process. Thus, EMVI develops a training curriculum for migrant communities, focusing on (young) migrant women and their needs and provide a training on political literacy and participation issues for this target group. On the other hand we will offer tailor-made training sessions for local authorities representatives, focusing on the findings and recommendations of the research and Good Practise Guide how to more efficiently consult and involve migrants in the design and implementation of policy areas that directly affect them.
