Rizal-Blumentritt Society Austria

The Rizal-Blumentritt Society Austria is founded as a historical organization to strengthen ties between the Philippines and Austria which has already been in existence since 1886, initiated by and between two men of history: Rizal and Blumentritt. The organization is patterned after the Blumentritt Society founded on February 20, 1914 by a group of patriotic Filipinos who wanted to honor and propagate the memory of Prof. Blumentritt and the role he played during the Philippine revolution. Membership is open to all persons interested in history and who are prepared to contribute to the achievement of the Society's objectives.
