In order to strengthen consultation bodies, such as the district advisory councils for participation and integration, the e-participation platform of the Berlin district advisory councils for participation and integration and the state advisory council for participation was developed as part of the EMVI project.
The platform called “Shaping Berlin with everyone” is an instrument to strengthen the work of the advisory boards. It offers the advisory boards the opportunity to communicate with the (interested) public as well as internally and to provide information about activities, members, tasks and events.
The platform also enables participation processes to be started, thereby opening up new opportunities for participation.
The platform can be used by the Berlin advisory boards for participation and integration from this point on.
The launch event took place online on December 18, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In addition to introducing the platform and its possible uses, a member of the Graz Migrant Advisory Board talked about their experiences with the platform.
