Association STORM as apolitical and non-profit association founded 15 May 2002 registration at the Ministry of Interior. Civil association is one of the few organizations in Slovakia, which is based on the principles of dealing with issues of low-threshold field social work with drug users under the philosophy of reducing the risks and issues neoganizovaných groups of children and youth. We are also the only accredited body and MoLSAF in this area, working in two counties , three counties and three cities. The mission and objective of the association is: Contribute to solving the drug problems via disssemination campaigns in teh education institutions Group interested in preventive field work Prepare, distribute and hand out materials dealing with the prevention of drug addiction, HIV / AIDS and infectious diseases in target groups. Cooperate with medical, stakeholders, youth and civic associations, charities, public and state and local administration in Slovakia and abroad in order to create optimal conditions for the implementation of projects of the association The main programs of the Association STORM include: STEP FORWARD - secondary prevention of drug addiction in the form of field social work with drug users and people working in the sex industry in Nitra, Trnava and Sered. Low-threshold club for children and youth CIRCUS - primary prevention of non-organized groups of children and youth in the city of Nitra. STEREO - prevention in primary and secondary schools.
