Shaping Graz Together – The participation platform for people with a migration background in Graz

Relaunch of the platform at the 8th Conference of Graz Migrant Associations and Self-Organizations on the topic: “Political Participation of Migrants”

At the 8th Conference of Graz Migrant Associations and Self-Organizations on the topic of “Political Participation of Migrants,” the platform was presented to migrant associations and ideas were collected in the course of the new participation process.

The “Shaping Graz Together” platform  collects ideas, suggestions, and solutions for a harmonious coexistence in Graz and brings them into the city’s policy arena.  As part of the “Empowering Migrant Voices” project, Südwind, together with the Graz Migrants’ Advisory Council, is making “Voices for Diversity” heard. 

The participation platform is an interactive tool where everyone in Graz can contribute and make their ideas visible. The platform is available and usable in 13 different languages.

At the 8th Conference of Graz Migrant Associations and Self-Organizations on the topic of “Political Participation of Migrants” on June 26, 2025, the new participation process “Voices for Diversity” was presented and initial ideas were collected.

The platform’s Info Corner contains a wealth of relevant information to help everyone get along well in Graz. This guide will help if you’re unsure where to turn. The Info Corner offers information on language courses, the healthcare system, the job market, financial support for clubs, and much more.
