EMV-LII Trainings 2024-2026

In order to assess the previously implemented trainings of EMVI, as well as to map which new training needs have emerged for migrant-led associations and advocates, focus groups will be organised in each of the project local areas. They will gather relevant stakeholders – primarily migrant-led organisation and advocates, both those who already participated in EMV-LII trainings, as well as newly identified migrant-led organisations, migrant advocates, in particular in the new project areas, where there were no previously implemented trainings. The focus groups will serve as starting points / indicators to tailor the training materials and curricula as much as possible to the (newly) detected needs.

EMVI Trainings 2022-2023

Effective participation of migrants in integration needs both empowered migrant communities AND representatives of the local authorities with both the motivation and the skills to support this process. Thus, EMVI develops a training curriculum for migrant communities, focusing on (young) migrant women and their needs and provide a training on political literacy and participation issues for this target group. On the other hand we will offer tailor-made training sessions for local authorities representatives, focusing on the findings and recommendations of the research and Good Practise Guide how to more efficiently consult and involve migrants in the design and implementation of policy areas that directly affect them.
